Make sure you don’t miss out on our trusted investigative journalism, reviews based on facts not opinions, or breaking consumer news.

By adding CHOICE as a ‘preferred source’ in your Google settings, you’re more likely to see our articles near the top of Google search. Be in the know next time we break a big story like our investigation into sunscreens not meeting SPF claims.

Add us to source preferences

The easiest way to add us as a trusted source is by using our direct link: add CHOICE as a preferred source.

You’ll see your Source preferences, with choice.com.au selected as a preferred source.

Choice.com.au selected as a preferred source – you can also search for other media outlets, and add them.

If you’re not logged in to Gmail, you’ll be prompted to sign up or log in first.

Once you’ve added us, you’ll start to see CHOICE articles appearing more frequently in your Top Stories (or in a dedicated “From your sources” section on the search results page).

You can also select your preferred sources as you’re searching. Here’s how:

  1. Log in to Gmail
  2. Go to Google Search and select the icon to the right of your Top stories.
  3. Search for a website and select it as a preferred source. Select as many or as few as you want – you can come back to customise later.
  4. Refresh the search to see new results.
